My Conversation with Susan Glasser, Now Live!
Yesterday, I had the pleasure of sitting down with one of my most trusted sources of information and insights, journalist and author Susan Glasser in the latest edition of my Word on the Street one-on-one interview series.
We dug into pressing issues of the moment, starting in Syria with the collapse of the Assad regime and moving to our home turf, where we unpacked the cast of characters President-elect Trump is assembling to lead his administration. Our discussion was not without critical reflection of this past November and lessons learned by the Democratic Party, the media and beyond.
If you made it to the live taping, I hope you enjoyed it. And if you weren’t able to attend, I hope you can find some time to tune in or just listen in the car or at the gym (that’s how I do these things at least!).
I’m excited to be expanding our offerings on the Word on the Street Substack – now we’ll be running both weekly blogs and occasional in-depth conversations with those making and covering the news.
My goal with Word on the Street is to cut through the noise and provide honest, intentional discussion about issues central to Israel-Palestine, US foreign policy and the American Jewish community.
While you’ll always have access for free to my Substack, I want to invite you to access live tapings of the interviews available only to leadership-level J Street supporters and monthly sustainers. If you’d like a personal invitation to next month’s call, you can opt-in to become a recurring donor here. Be sure to click ‘count me in’ to make it monthly!
I am looking forward to continuing to build Word on the Street in 2025, and I hope you’ll join me along the way and invite your friends and colleagues.
As always, feel free to leave a comment below with any reflections you may have about my latest conversation with Susan or other topics. I look forward to engaging with this community more.
